Magnetic Attachment

Magnetic attachment is a device that uses magnetic forces to hold dentures in place. It is placed inside the denture and is designed to hold the denture in place by drawing a magnet or small metal plate to the base. In contrast to denture adhesives, it does not give off an unpleasant smell. Compared with mechanical attachments, it has the advantages of easy insertion, beautiful appearance, and less lateral pressure on abutment teeth.

Because of the magnetic attraction, the wearer can remove the dentures at any time when necessary. Easy to clean and manage. If a patient has a loose, ill-fitting, or unsightly partial denture but doesn’t want to pay for an implant, magnetic attachment is a good option.
